A Letter from Bob Pritchit, President of Logos Research Systems

Logos Research Systems, Inc. was founded in January, 1992 by Kiernon Reiniger, Dale Pritchett, and myself. Our only product was Logos Bible Software for Microsoft Windows v1.0, one of the first Bible study software packages for the Windows platform. That release quickly became the high-end standard for Bible study software, and subsequent releases have kept Logos Bible Software on the leading edge of Windows software design.

The past four years have seen Logos grow from a couple of programmers in a basement into one of the largest developers of software for the Christian market and a world-wide leader in multilingual electronic publishing. We're a team of more than 75 people committed to meeting our customers' needs, backed by strong distribution in the US and around the world.

The new Logos Library System, designed to meet the complex requirements for publishing Biblical reference material, is being used to deliver content from dozens of publishers to a variety of different markets. New stand-alone products distributed and developed by Logos are addressing needs from the pre-school to the scholarly markets.

With this growth that we've been blessed with comes a responsibility to stay focused. Our three primary goals are:

• to provide the best possible Christian software,
• to leverage our electronic publishing technology to enter selected new markets, and
• to provide excellent value and service to our customers.

As we pursue these goals you should:

• expect to see a broad line of high-quality Christian software ranging from children's 'edutainment' titles to scholarly reference works.
• expect to see the Logos Library System mark on texts and resources from dozens of publishers in many different fields, and
